is based in the Czech Republic, created by a regular boutique shop’s owner, a family that is in the jewelry business since 1977.
We bring together designers from around the world, combine the designs, the technologies and the qualities of gem & craftsmanship into the concept of Wollem.
Each and every day we are expanding the passion for jewelry, working with different manufacturers around the world and taking bits and pieces from every source of inspiration we have encountered in every culture we’ve been inspired by.
The world of jewelry is about craftsmanship, design and the quality of the mines and gems. These three aspects never cease to evolve. Different cultures in different parts of the world have their own marvellous characteristics when it comes to each of these aspects.
There is always a new development to be found in the world of jewelry, hence our excitement to discover the possibilities of our creations. Our selection is based on what is in our opinion the best combination of the three aspects.
Selection of Wollem Gemstone
Wollem is based in Czech Republic.
Approximately for 400 years Czech garnet has been a historical and cultural value of this country and it has been the gemstone of choice for the Czech craftsmen. While it is quite normal to see garnet jewelry in many jewelry stores in Prague today, Wollem is no where to be found but only in our store.
We took the garnet jewelry to its peak quality. Wollem pieces are made from the smallest cut garnet stones in the world. To provide a unique balance of the look and shining, each Wollem piece has the garnet stones cut in the smallest size possible to fit into the designs.
Music / Perfection
Our definition of perfection is not with words, but with music.
“The best definition of a perfect piece is given by the musicians, not by technicians.”
Our inspiration is to take example how a musician creates a perfect piece – with enough patience to listen to what exactly is needed to complete the missing piece of each song.
The creator of Wollem is known to listen to the same “perfect” songs every single morning for months. Music is what we are inspired by when defining perfection with our pieces.
